The Manager Merchandise Ops, Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories (AFA) will include responsibilities for all North America (USA and Canada) and contribute to the development of AFA growth initiatives, across all sport verticals, product categories and channels of trade.¬ ¬  The role will be responsible for:

  1. Creating sales tools directly to assist the sales team grow the business

  2. Collaborate with Milan on line structure

  3. Work with Oakley retail team to ensure market alignment

  4. Sharing data/insights/trends with the Director AFA North America and the Sales Team

  5. Regular communication with all stakeholders

The role will be the main tactical contact between key stakeholders across North America, as well as, with the Global Italian team in order to implement and facilitate the right execution for the doubling of the AFA business in North America.



  • To assist in achievement of annual sales budget in AFA

  • Ensure sales tools are aligned for the region's needs and delivered on time to sale teams

  • Execute the GTM strategy together with the Director of AFA, Global team and Sales Leaders to launch new seasons to the salesforce, gain line's feedback and manage communication to design team

  • Develop In-Line product support as priority and SMU opportunities for sales teams to drive brand recognition and market penetration.

  • Assist in customer segmentation and assortment strategies for all product lines and AFA verticals (Golf, Surf, Snow, Training, Urban and Cycling), in collaboration with sales channel leaders

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of the AFA strategy at key sales and customer meetings.

  • Participate and merchandise key account meetings, trade shows and key channel event in both US and Canada

  • Define, execute and monitor the GTM strategy for sample sets (both reps and showrooms)

  • Share seasonal priorities and highlights, gather account feedback and identify future opportunities.

  • Drive alignment and coordinate work with cross functional support teams to insure pro-active readiness for seasonal launches (product training included)

  • Establish market research template to offer feedback on trends to the global product team across the key verticals for each channel and develop sales/merchant market tours to gain key customer feedback across US and Canada.

  • Provide necessary data inputs to Demand Planning to establish accurate forecasts to address channel product needs and increase inventory optimization

  • Travel internationally (Milan HQ)/domestically to participate in line development and collection planning and visit top accounts, events and tradeshows.



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience working within Sport/Lifestyle Apparel and Accessories brands collaborating with sales and product functions

  • 2+ years of Go-To-Market Experience, preferably within the Sport/Lifestyle Apparel and Accessory industry

  • Strong ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe

  • Travel internationally and domestically

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
