Summary:
Receptionist position is responsible for answering phones in a friendly, professional manner, greeting visitors, enforcing cell phone policy, ordering office supplies, and supporting the accounting department.
This individual must have strong multitasking skills, ability to anticipate needs, demonstrate the ability to interact positively with clients, vendors, and employees.
Individual must demonstrate a polished and professional attitude and appearance, possess strong customer services skills, and excellent phone etiquette.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and customers in a friendly manner.
Answer and direct inquiries in person or via phone calls.
Identify the purpose of their visit/call before directing them to the appropriate person/department and enforce the cell phone camera policy.
Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Plan and schedule catering as requested.
Maintain office supplies inventory by:
checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
Assist Accounting department with requested tasks and projects.
Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain neat and tidy lobby.
Scan incoming job tickets for Accounting Dept.
Water plants in lobby.
REQUIREMENTS (Specific knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):
Have a friendly & professional attitude.
Excel, Outlook & Microsoft Word skills.
Have excellent follow up & communication skills (oral & written).
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Be highly detail oriented and well organized.
Be punctual and reliable.
Have a professional appearance, at all times.
Enjoy working in a team environment--provide assistance to all departments.
1-3 years of customer service/reception skills preferred.
