The Event Coordinator will report to the CEO and Event Directors and will support all facets of Omega's operations.
We have a small office environment, casual and fun, and are seeking the right candidate to support the many events on Omega's calendar, which includes concerts and festivals in Newport Beach, Temecula, Mammoth Lakes, San Diego and Las Vegas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist CEO, Event Directors and Accounting Manager in the planning and execution of all events as needed.
Office management:
possibly the most important role, you will serve as backbone to the busy schedules of the Event Directors; executive assistance will be required.
Flexibility and a willingness to jump in is expected.
Talent Buying:
assist CEO, Accounting Manager and talent buyers with the booking of musicians; executing contracts, managing deposits, communicate with talent agencies and managers.
Assist Accounting Manager to maintain event budgets and invoice binders.
Oversee office calendar, send meeting invites, and ensure communication across departments is effective and timely.
Follow event timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Interface with venue partners and maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with clients on a day-to-day basis.
Update clients on plans and progress.
Copy editing of public documents, marketing materials and ticketing information.
Coordinate with internal and external event staff to ensure a smooth execution of events and functions.
Train on ticketing systems to provide box office support, when needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A passion or curiosity for live music and special events is preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the development, creative planning, and implementation of events.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office and Google suites; knowledge of DropBox, ticketing platforms and/or newsletter software are preferred, but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally.
Flexible schedule as this position often requires after hours and weekend work.
BS, BA or AA degree from an accredited university is preferred.
Must have a curiosity and willingness to learn.
Ability to stand/work for long hours, lift 50 lbs.
and get your hands dirty when needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
