The Electrical Systems Technician in this position will be responsible for the creation, modification, route and install aircraft system wire harnesses, perform aircraft operational / functional testing, troubleshooting, repair of newly installed / modified electrical and avionics systems on manned and unmanned aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, and supplier requirements.
The candidate must work well with customers, contractors, and hardware engineers to affect the implementation of system requirements.

year's experience in UAV or applicable field (robotics, aerospace, medical) as an electric / electro-mechanical technicianStrong experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBAs) and wiring harness manufacturingCapable of carrying out detailed electro-mechanical assembly work with tight-tolerance components/enclosures and complex wire routingsFamiliarity with electrical engineering principals and conceptsComfortable working independently off detailed technical documentation (system wire diagrams, cable schematics, mechanical assembly drawings, vendor specs, etc.
)Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal ownership over work productAbility to perform electrical debug including use of tools such as a digital multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
Extremely organized and results-oriented work ethicWorks well within a team dynamic and has good verbal / written communication and computer skillsStrong sense of urgency and enthusiasm, un-phased pushing outside of comfort zoneExperience in with robotics (UAVs)Experience working with electrical systemsSubsea cable splicing or fabrication experienceIPC 610 and/or 620 CertificationEducation:

Hourly Rate:
$22 - $45 Hourly compensation depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions.
In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
