General Function
The Process Tech II will work with production, engineering, and technical support teams to maximize machine uptime for automation equipment and assembly fixturing to safely meet quality standards and production goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with Automation Engineers and Maintenance Technicians to adjust, upgrade, and improve automated equipment in a production environment.
Work with automation and engineering teams to create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and cleaning to maximize uptime.
Assist with assembling, testing, and commissioning fixtures, machines, and robots.
Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to ensure part conformity and quality.
Communicate and escalate any issues to supervisor/manager and engineering teams in a timely manner.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Basic Qualifications
Associate degree, technical school or equivalent 3
years' experience with industrial automation/robotics and industrial controls (PLC, robot controller, microcontrolleretc.)Understanding of pneumatic diagrams, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
Ability to read, understand and communicate in English language
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking
Desired Qualifications
BS degree in engineering
Bilingual Spanish/English
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and service manuals.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost effectiveness, and other techniques to ensure efficient production of quality products.
Programming experience
Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodology and concepts including 5S, value, eliminating waste, material flowetc
Compensation:
$24.00 - $36.00/hr DOE
